Project Homecoming
You can ensure a smooth transition from homelessness to housing by providing Bethesda’s clients with household start-up kits. We can provide you with a list of needed items.
3-D - Dessert, Devotion, Dialogue
Through 3-D, small groups bring Dessert, a brief Devotion or inspirational message and Dialogue (prayer or time of sharing) to participating homeless men and women at Bethesda. 3-D session occur in the evening and require a 2-hour commitment.
The goals of 3-D are to provide:
- Evening refreshment for men and women staying at Bethesda;
- Camaraderie and community-building;
- A forum for sharing a message of hope;
- Front-line, local ministry opportunities for local churches and groups.
Be an Ambassador
An Ambassador provides a personal link between Bethesda and a church, business or organization and helps build awareness and support for the needs and activities at the Center.
Living Quarters
Living Quarters is a project that helps Bethesda Center continue its mission of providing shelter and support for the homeless. Just a few quarters can make a difference in the life of a homeless man or woman. Living Quarters is ideal for a Sunday School class, youth group, small men’s or women’s group, civic club or any other organization interested in making a difference in our community. We’ll supply the coin holders and materials
White Christmas
Each year, we reach out to the community to help us provide winter clothing essentials and toiletries to the nearly 150 homeless men and women who attend our annual Christmas Party as well as the 100 men and women staying in our emergency night shelter. Start collecting items today for this year's White Christmas taking place on Saturday, December 11th.
